But again, bidayuh tradition dress also black in color.. so does kadazan.. hmmm..
Same goes with the malays mate.... They're from Yunan, Indochina....
I think the iban, malays,bidayuh and kadazan are from the same root....
The only difference is the clothing that the malay wore is different since they adopt different culture and lifestyle when they settled down in the new area...Besides, the malays during those time have more influence of hinduism and buddha from India....That's why the way that they dress (tanjak,all those malay traditional clothes) originates way back from the bay of bengal and India during those days...However, I am also afraid that the malays have close connection with the maoris....Even right now in New Zealand I am mistaken some maori girl with some fat Kuala Lumpur girls when I see tehm for the first glimpse ...
